Our History

Sam Unique College is a co-educational college founded by Mrs. Esther Abosede Omole in September 23rd 2009 to educate students whose parents want to have the best kind of upbringing for them. The school is strategically located at 3/5 Sam Unique Street, Olomu road, Ikorodu, Lagos.

We started with just 13 students on the first day of resumption. The teaching commenced in the primary school section in a three bedroom flat. By the year 2010, the management acquired plots of land in the same location with our primary school and as at the time of compiling this, the school had moved to her permanent site with adequate state of the art teaching and learning facilities.

At the end of 2010/2011 session, the school was granted special permission by the ministry of education to present students for the BECE (Basic Education Certificate Examination). The brilliant performances of the three students that wrote the examination spurred the proprietress to extend the classes to senior classes.

With the help of God and the non-resilient efforts of the school’s experienced, qualified and committed staff(s), the quality of our students is known to all and sundry through their sterling performances in various competitions, science exhibition and the recently concluded PZ Chemistry challenge competition.

Also, the secondary school was approved by the ministry of education to conduct the West African Examination Council (WAEC) exams in 2013/14 Session. Nine students were registered and sat for the exams of which they passed with excellent results; thereafter it’s been a success story.

At Sam Unique College, we aim for the students to leave our school/college as lively, pro-active, confident individual able to take initiative with independent thought and action and also the ability to discover their life purpose.
